Dance Camp
$100.00

The Spartan Dance Camp will be unlike any other! Each camper will have the opportunity to see what dance team is all about and learn a little bit about the Spartans' squad. Throughout the week, the group will learn a routine that is about a minute in length, which will be showcased on the final day of camp. Campers will also learn some basic skills the SPA dancers learn for the season. No experience is necessary, anyone that wants to dance and have fun is welcome! Campers should plan on wearing dance attire or leggings, shorts, or tights (something comfortable to move in). Dance shoes are encouraged for those who have them otherwise, tennis shoes are fine.

Coach: Jessica Kane has been the Head SPA Dance Team Coach at SPA for the last 4 years. Before her time as a Spartan, she coached other teams in the metro area, including South St Paul, Hill-Murray, and Minneapolis Washburn. Dance has been a big part of Jessica's life; she started when she was 5, danced for a studio in St. Paul for over 10 years, and was on her high school dance team for 4 years. Jessica says she has a passion for the sport and loves working with students, watching them grow personally and artistically. Finally, she is certified in coaching, first aid, and CPR.
